Leka Warm Roof System
Here at Pure Conservatories, we specialise in the installation of the ‘warm roof’ system by Leka. This solid roof offers exceptional insulation, so your conservatory will remain warm through the winter months whilst being cool and free from glare during the summer.
The interior will be plastered and painted, helping it to blend in effortlessly with your ceilings. You’ll also have the option to add spotlights and windows to your roof to further improve the aesthetics.
The exterior will be tiled to match your existing roofing, giving your conservatory a modern appearance. In our opinion, the Leka roof system is the superior conservatory roof system on the market.
Construction
We use market-leading products to build our conservatories which means that your conservatory will not only look great but also be usable all year round. Roof
We only install the innovative ‘warm roof’ by Leka: a lightweight system that has the lowest U-value on the market today of 0.15. This made-to-measure system can be installed in a matter of days and is finished internally with a smooth plaster, and tiled externally to compliment your home. Base
We can construct your conservatory using either a traditional concrete base or a modern prefabricated system which requires less groundworks. The prefabricated system can get around obstructions such as underground pipes and manholes it’s also quicker to install. Both methods are insulated to prevent heat loss and improve efficiency; the prefabricated system has a u-value of 0.18 and is JHAI approved.
Glazing
All windows are made bespoke to your requirements to ensure they are a perfect fit. When installed, they are beaded internally for optimum strength, durability and security. We promise our glazing products to be of the highest standards in quality and performance as they are all A-rated as standard.
Walls
Traditional conservatories were generally constructed with dwarf walls and glazed units above. Conservatories can have a maximum of 50% glazed wall, which means you can install floor-to-ceiling glazing on some walls, and full-height solid walls on others which can be used to mount a television, heating system or art.

Does a conservatory require planning permission?
You might be surprised to learn that you don’t need planning permission to build a conservatory, providing you follow your local authority guidelines. The LEKA roof system also comes with JHAI system approval. This means that you shouldn’t have any issues if you decide to sell your home later down the line.
Will a solid roof make my conservatory dark?
When you replace a traditional conservatory roof with a solid roof, you’re essentially removing a roof that lets in a large amount of light with a rood that doesn’t let in any natural life. So, it’s understandable that there will be a reduction in light.
However, you can choose to include roof lights and electric lighting in your new conservatory roof if you choose, helping to increase the light in your conservatory. It’s also worth noting that a coat of white paint can do wonders for making your conservatory feel light and airy.
How long does it take to build a conservatory?
The time that it takes to build a new conservatory will depend on the size, style, complexity and materials that are selected. We’ll be able to advise you of the estimated build time when we complete our site visit, although the weather can also impact build times on occasion.
What is an insurance-backed guarantee?
Our new build conservatories are guaranteed for 10 years. That includes our workmanship and the materials. As this guarantee is insurance backed, this means that you are covered even if we cease trading, or if we are unable to complete your installation for any reason.
